Can SQT Bio-microneedling be combined with glycolic acid peeling or Alpha Hydroxy Acid products to support peeling?No, we do not recommend any skin peeling treatments in conjunction with SQT Bio-Microneedling. We recommend you wait 4 weeks between a treatment service and SQT Bio-Microneedling.

Does the skin peel after a treatment?According to feedback from 1132 customers, 26.24% of users peeled for the first time, 63.78% of users peeled for the second time, 79.15% of users peeled for the third time, and 90.19% of users peeled for the fourth time.

What is the length of the grey and white microneedle?The length of microneedles of grey powder is around 150~210μm, and white powder is about 200~250μm.

Does SQT Bio-Microneedling hurt?There is minimal discomfort. There is no need for numbing cream. There is no lingering discomfort. Post-procedure, most people report a tingling feeling and do notice redness after the treatment.

Can SQT Treatments be done while you are pregnant or breastfeeding?This treatment is safe during pregnancy (please wait until 2nd trimester) and breastfeeding.

What is the difference between seaweed algae powder, coral calcium powder and spongilla spicule?There is no comparison as SQT Bio-Microneedling spicules are from a freshwater sponge, not from the ocean.

Why is the skin red after a treatment?Redness is a temporary condition and generally will subside after a few hours. The redness is part of the wound healing response.

What is the aftercare after an SQT Bio-microneedling treatment?After a treatment it is recommended that no active products, serums or exfoliators are to be used for the first 7 days. SPF is a must. Make-up application is easier once peeling is completed.

How many microneedles does each bottle of this set have?Depending on the kit, between 3 - 4 million microneedles.

Why does pigmentation on the skin appear darker after a treatment?This is completely normal, as the pigment build up in the skin starts to move to the surface. You will notice the skin will lighten after this time.

Can you expose the skin to sun after a treatment?We suggest no sun exposure after the treatment. It is important that you recommend a professional sunscreen to be used ongoing.
